I started Art of Wellness to help women live healthier and happier lives. As a certified nutritionist, menopause coach and health coach, my particular area of expertise lies in working with midlife women (i.e typically women in the age group of 35 – 65 years) as they navigate through perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause.

Early Career

After completing my Masters in Food and Nutrition, I began my career as a clinical dietitian in a hospital. This experience brought me hands-on awareness of the important role of food and nutrition in managing different health conditions.

Later in my career, I had the opportunity to work in the test kitchen of a global food major, well known as the world's largest and most diversified food and beverages company. At the test kitchen, I worked extensively with various products, creating easy-to-make and healthy recipes.

Additionally, I was responsible for editing their 'Food Talk Club' monthly newsletter, where I focused on spreading knowledge about the importance of food and nutrition in promoting overall health.

However, this experience also exposed me to the potential ills of over-dependence on processed foods and the lack of knowledge among consumers on how to identify healthy ingredients. Without this knowledge, even the most delicious meal preparation cannot be truly beneficial for one's wellness.

Starting My Own Nutrition Practice

Armed with these early experiences and learnings during the formative years of my career, I dedicated my focus to using the knowledge gained to make a difference in women's lives by helping them improve their health and wellness.

I decided to further enhance my learning through a one-year certification in Integrative Nutrition from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN), New York. This certification equipped me with essential knowledge and skills to become an effective health coach.

With these learnings and experiences, I then started my own nutrition practice while raising my two beautiful daughters. My experience as a mother gave me invaluable firsthand learnings on the different challenges that come with the various life stages of young girls as they grow.

These learnings and practical experiences collectively help me work towards my purpose: "Making a true difference in the lives of women with a personalized approach and unique care for each."

Establishing “Art of Wellness”

While I was effective in helping people through one-on-one counseling sessions and group talks as a nutritionist, I realized that I had an inner calling to reach a larger audience. This inspired me to launch my Instagram handle, 'Art of Wellness,' to amplify my message of promoting good health and wellness globally.

I now leverage my 'Art of Wellness' Instagram platform through videos, reels, posts, and webinars to reach a growing audience. This platform allows me to share valuable information, get feedback on areas of concern, engage with individuals seeking guidance, and foster a supportive community of like-minded people.

While I focus on people at large, I particularly specialize in women's health, emphasizing the mid-life stages of women (mid-30's to mid-60's) when they need the most care and attention. My endeavor is to help women handle their life stage transitions with more awareness, age gracefully, and lead fulfilling and healthy lives.

I feel deeply connected to my passion for helping people live healthier lives, and I am glad to make a positive impact through my work.
